Your Deal

Your Deal

You dream of her in your future,

Though a single date you have had,

And of course, this is setting up for turture,

With no thought of good or bad,

You sink to you knees in basic emotion,

And in imaginings you would wish to be true.

But what of their devotion?

What of how they actually feel for you?

Can you cope if they don’t feel the same?

You know you shouldn’t dream these dreams,

And yet your imagining you can not tame.

So the arch angel of love to you deems,

That sorrow is yours forever more,

And in rejection is what you face,

But still with a heart torn,

You still keep your pace.

Yours is the way heart ach,

The way of grief,

The more you imagine, the more you take,

From what is real and put into belief.

So in the end you suffer,

And to no avail.

For you to recover,

Involves you to derail,

Derail the way you think,

The way you feel.

So in the end from the truth you sink,

And another hand of pain you deal.

In Boston Pizza

I saw her. I met her. And now I want her.

I want to spend time with her,

To see her, to feel her.

But which is better,

She wants me too.

I got to relax, I got to be cool,

I got to show her me,

Show her that I too can be free.

I got to chill, take a pill,

Into the pool to spill,

And in doing so capture her

And mine for her to be,

Which is more, she want too wants me.

She gives energy,

She gives me life,

Can she be mine?

Will she be a wife?

She makes me once again rhyme,

And I don’t even need to plea,

For her to want me.
