Until the end

A raging alcoholic am I,
With horse cough and tearful eye.
Who thinks of you and grabs at rye.
When the day is wan,
And you have no fan,
I will be there to cheer,
To whisper sweat nothings into you ear.

And when the end has come to this show,
I will never let you go,
I will hold until the end,
For my love for you will never bend.

When we dated I was crazed,
When you kissed me that’s all hazed,
And the bed we shared it just blazed.
You where my sweetest dream,
Or so to me it seemed,
But now I am here,
Mulling over you and skuzzy beer.

But when the end has come to this show,
I will never let you go,
I will hold until the end,
For my love for you will never bend.

Tomorrow I will wake,
But from my head you will not shake,
Yet I will drink to you for old time’s sake.
And hold onto a memory,
As my liver is sent to the infirmary.
And one day I will arise,
And the pain will be vacant from my eyes.

And when the end has come to this show,
I will never let you go,
I will hold until the end,
For my love for you will never bend.
To the end.
To the end.
